We highly suggest booking your hotel close to the downtown area of Madrid, just to make it easier for you to navigate (unless you don’t mind Ubering everywhere). Please note that Spain has good public transportation as well, so should you need to book further outside the city, there are other ways to get around besides Uber.

Spain is known to have light showers in April. Bring a light rain jacket (unless you don’t mind some agua) and really comfortable walking shoes. We will be updating this section the sooner we get to the trip dates so that the advice reflects the weather reports.

Madrid is a very walkable city with good public transportation. If you would prefer to take a car, then I would highly suggest Ubering.
